1. What we collect

  • Account data: username, email address, a hashed password (we never see your real password), avatar and banner if you upload them, your role and the date you joined.
  • Library data: when you are logged in to the launcher, the names, nicknames and file paths of the games you add, their icons, your playtime and the last time you played.
  • Technical data: your IP address for failed login attempts (to stop password guessing) and the name of the PC each launcher is signed in on.

In offline mode, nothing is sent to us: your library stays on your PC.

2. Why we use it

  • To create and secure your account and log you in.
  • To sync your library between your PCs and show it on your account page.
  • To protect the service against abuse.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Discord

If Discord Rich Presence is on in the launcher, the name of the game you are playing is sent to the Discord app on your PC so it appears on your profile. You can turn it off in the launcher settings.

4. Where it is stored and for how long

Data is stored on our hosting provider's servers (Hostinger). Account and library data is kept while your account exists. Failed login records are deleted after 15 minutes. Launcher sessions expire after 90 days without use.

5. Your rights

You can see and edit your profile on your account page. You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account by writing to contact@rocket-ball.online. If you live in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
